Data Engineer

Ireland (Hybrid)

My client is delivering cloud transformation and modern data solutions for leading enterprise clients, where you'll work on large-scale, business-critical projects, helping customers design, build and optimise cloud-based data platforms using modern engineering practices and technologies.

The Role

• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop data solutions using Python, SQL and cloud platforms.
• Design data models and ensure data quality.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL and Python.
• Experience with GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, dbt/Dataform), Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) or AWS (Glue, Lambda).
• Knowledge of data modelling, relational databases and Git/DevOps.
• Understanding of cloud security and data quality.

Desirable

• GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, graph databases or streaming architectures.
• Telecommunications experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
